Our story starts in College Station during the fall of 2017 when we met by chance (in an elevator), thanks to mutual friends! Our first date was attending Breakaway, a popular bible study at our university. We instantly connected and have been inseparable since. Following our first date, we have created many memories together throughout the years. Here are some of our favorites: Zach: "One of my favorite memories is loading up a U-Haul and beginning our journey to our new home in Denver, Colorado. I am grateful for my co-pilot, from her singing to her constant support (especially during our 16+ hour drive). I love how adventurous our relationship has been and am looking forward to many more memories." Dani: "Traveling with Zach is at the top of my list of favorite memories. From getting one of the worst sunburns I've ever experienced in Greece, to introducing him to my favorite people in Colombia. I'm thankful to be able to travel with my best friend. I can't wait to see what our next destination will be!"

Our engagement took place December 5, 2020. We are extremely thankful that we were able to share such a special moment in our lives with our closest family and friends. We always talked about getting engaged once Zach had graduated with his Masters but plans quickly changed when Dani's older brother was able to visit home during his time in the Navy. After a date night dinner (Dani's favorite... ribeye, obviously), we headed back to Dani's parents house where everything was ready for Zach to ask the big question. (A big thank you to our family for decorating the backyard so beautifully - from the twinkle lights, to our favorite food and desserts, we are so grateful!) Two and a half years later, a master's degree secured, and a move to a new state, we are ready to tie the knot in the state where it all began!
