Medicine Lodge is a hidden oasis and home to a large sandstone cliff that displays hundreds of Native American petroglyphs and pictographs. Approximately 27 individual campsites with picnic tables and fire rings are available for RV's, tents, or picnicking. Hiking, biking, horseback riding, & wildlife watching are popular activities. Thousands of acres of adjoining public land are here to explore!

The Washakie Museum and Cultural Center is an interactive museum with a rich collection of some of the best paleontological and archaeological finds the Big Horn Basin has to offer. Our historical exhibits include artifacts from the lives of the Indigenous peoples of the Big Horn Basin like a horn bow and an authentic Shoshone tipi as well as artifacts from and information about early white settlers, cattle and sheep ranching, and the challenges of developing the West.
