When should I RSVP by?

Answer

The sooner the better :) but July 31st.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We are asking guest to arrive in cocktail attire.

Answer

Please check our registry page, there are gifts and cash funds you can choose from.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Please refer to the rsvp page or Invite. If there is not one listed we do not have enough seats to accommodate a plus one.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes, Children are welcome. Please keep a close eye on them as we will be surrounded by water, and we would not like anyone wondering off.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

No, but there are a number of hotels in the surrounding areas of La Plata, MD and King George, VA. There is also cabins onsite please contact dnjblake0923@gmail.com to see if there are bunks available.

What should I know about the Venue?

Answer

This venue is a summer camp located off of a one lane dirt road and is surrounded by a river. Please be careful and keep a close eye on children as there are no barriers, fences or gates along the shore lines and pier.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! Once you enter the camp there should be someone directing you to a parking spot. Please listen to them as we only have a limited number of spots. Carpooling is suggested if possible.

Masks?

Answer

We are not requiring masks, as we are completely outdoors, and we are all family. If you feel the need to wear a mask, you may do so. One will not be provided. All we ask is to leave them OUT of photos

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We will be having an unplugged ceremony. This is to ensure no one will be blocking the photographers as it is their expertise. We would also love to have everyone enjoy the moments instead of capturing it.
