Where is the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Both will be at Catelyn’s parents backyard. The ceremony will be out in the open but will be shaded at that time and the reception will be underneath a canopy. Dress accordingly.

What’s the dress code?

Answer

Why it’s a backyard wedding in Kentucky in June! Dress like you’re going to a summer garden party: cool, semi-formal, and yet comfortable. Tip: Due to uneven grounds, leave your high heels at home!

Where do I park?

Answer

If you’re planning on letting loose at the wedding, we suggest a ride share. Depending on the number, we may arrange transportation. Since it is at a house, there is limited parking out in front along the street.

Are we having an unplugged wedding?

Answer

We would ask to leave phones down and silent during the ceremony portion and be present with us. We have a photographer who’s sole purpose is to take beautiful photos. However, during the reception feel free to click away!

What kind of food will be at the reception?

Answer

Lucky guests will get to partake in the amazing BBQ food from one of Catelyn’s favorite restaurants. There will be a delicious buffet of BBQ, yummy sides, andddddd a MASHED POTATO BAR! It’s going to be the best!

I got a virtual invite, what do I do now?

Answer

First I want to express how much we would LOVE for you to come to our wedding, but due to Covid, we decided in the best and safest interest for everyone is to have a micro wedding. Whenever it’s safe, we will throw a large party to celebrate our love and everyone plus one can come! So, enjoy the website of stories, photos, and love and for something fun, go to the RSVP tab and write down your favorite songs for us to play at the reception!

How do I live stream the wedding?

The wedding will be at 5:30 pm on June 5, 2021, so be ready! On our wedding website (where you’re at right now) click on the Schedule tab. Scroll down until you see the virtual event shockingly called “Dan and Catelyn’s Wedding!” Click on the link and you’ll be virtually transported to Catelyn’s parents backyard! Sit back, get your champagne ready, and enjoy!
