WE ARE GETTING MARRIED!

Camp Barney Medintz was our summer home every year for most of our lives. While we didn’t know each other growing up at camp, the summer of 2015 changed it all. Alec was working as a counselor and Dana was on the waterfront staff. Alec had his eye on Dana from the beginning of the summer. The first night we spent time together, we were up until four in the morning talking. It was clear from that night that we had something special. Little did we know, seven years later we were going to be planning a wedding! At the end of the summer of 2015, Dana was leaving for her freshman year at IU and Alec was going to school in Georgia. At 18 and 20 years old, we were not sure if a long distance relationship was the best decision, but we decided it was worth a try. It definitely wasn’t easy, but after four years of a long distance relationship, three apartments, two cities, and one dog- we are getting married! A Camp Barney summer fling to GETTING THE RING! We are so excited to share our wedding weekend with everyone. We are thankful to have each of you in our lives and can’t wait for June 17, 2023!!
