As the world slowly emerged from the darkness of the COVID era, our hearts were re-introduced to the light and opened wide as we met on our first date at Wildberry's Breakfast Cafe in Libertyville, IL. The conversation over breakfast led to a five hour walk in the nearby Independence Grove Park, and as we rested our exhausted feet, we agreed to meet again. After a year and countless dates involving hikes, Summer Moon coffee, golf, friends and family, we returned to Wildberry's and Independence Grove and agreed to be joined in marriage.
