We met ironically at Live Oak High School's prom, it was one of those movie moments where we locked eyes across the room, but we didn't wind up meeting that night, officially. We wound up officially meeting through Instagram and we talked non-stop all summer. We drifted apart for about two years and found our way back to each other in April of 2018. Our first date was at La Caretta's in Hammond and the rest is history. Here we are so many years later soon to be married and we cannot wait to celebrate with you!

A week before our 5-year dating anniversary, Dalton and I headed to New Orleans to spend the day at French Quarter Fest with my parents. French Quarter Fest is one of my favorite events of the year, so I was already filled with excitement for the day ahead. As we got off the elevator near my parents' condo, Dalton took me by the hand and led me towards the rooftop, where he said he had something to show me. This unexpected move made me feel a mix of nervousness and anticipation for what awaited us. As we made our way to the roof, my godfather, Kenny, who was with us at the time, realized what was happening and rushed to my parents to let them know what was about to unfold. Thanks to him, my parents were able to watch as Dalton got down on one knee and asked me to spend the rest of my life with him. This moment will be forever etched in my heart as one of the greatest moments of my life.
