Studio One Theaters
This is by far our #1 most used date night spot! This theater is so cozy and warm, they have a full dinner and drink menu, play all the newest flicks, as well as have Samba dancing several nights a week featured by an amazing live band! It doesn’t look like anything from outside, but you’ll be amazed when you walk in on an evening that it’s busy! The cheese fries are our go-to (with cheddar for Chelsea and parmesan for Dalton) A bonus is that each theater room is themed! So worth it if you have some time when you’re in Portland for the wedding!
Voodoo Doughnut - Old Town
Every Portlander knows you can’t come to Portland without enjoying VooDoo! The one downtown is the original and is super cool! However, there are others that are easier to access due to parking, as well.
Wildwood Trailhead - Upper Macleay Trail
This is one of our favorite spots to hike! It’s so amazing, this is where we got engaged!
McMenamins Edgefield
If you want amazing food, gorgeous grounds, and potentially live music, this is the place to go! McMenamins is Oregon/Washington famous and each location is unique as they choose buildings that were used for completely different things! This is one of the best, but search up McMenamins or look on their website for other locations! This also doubles as a hotel with a gorgeous pool, so if you haven’t already booked somewhere to stay, we highly recommend Edgefield! It is very close to our venue, too!
Silver Falls State Park
AMAZING waterfall hiking! You can go in for a quick one and see gorgeous trail and falls, or you can go the entire 13 miles in and back for the full effect!
