We Chose Forever!

Right from the first moment we met, we knew that we were soulmates just by how we couldn’t take our eyes off of each other’s. We both were lost souls struggling to find our place in the world after surviving cancer, only to realize it was true love that was destined for us. What started as a strong friendship that would last a lifetime became the eternal love and connection we share every day, thank God!

Dallas insisted we dress up nicely, as we were going out with his family to eat and venture out. Our first stop was to see some beautiful horses and pigs, at which we were excited to feed against the sign's warnings (mostly the horses, we were too afraid of the pigs!) We then head on to an elegant lily garden, which contained gorgeous floral paths and a pond. Under a tall arch, I stopped to take a picture of the greenery. As I turned around, there Dallas was, down on one knee, asking me to be his wife forever! I couldn't help but cry in my crocs as I knew this is what I want for the rest of eternity! Although we had only been dating for under a year, it was like we had been together for centuries and had only just reunited. We both are home to each other, exactly where we're meant to be.
