Celebrating our love on 6.19.21

We are so happy to finally be able to celebrate our love with all the people we love! Though we are legally married, we want to share our vows in front of the ones we care so much about and celebrate the way we planned before COVID. Call it a sequel wedding, wedding part 2, or vow ceremony - we plan to have a ceremony close to a “traditional” wedding ceremony. The bride will finally wear her gown, groom will be suited up, our wedding party will be by our sides & Sara’s dad will finally walk her down the aisle. After the ceremony, we will have a reception with food, drinks, and dancing! Thank you so much for being part of our day & wanting to celebrate with us! Please RSVP by May 30th.

Due to COVID-19, we will be postponing our bigger wedding ceremony and reception in Arkansas until 6.19.21. We really hope you are able to make it to our new date, and so sorry for any inconvience! Please RSVP any time for the new date! However, we cannot wait to say "I DO"!! On our original date of 6.20.20, we will have a small intimate ceremony (minimony) on the beach in California to legally wed. While you will be there with us in spirit, we cannot wait to celebrate with you in person in 2021!

Funny story. Sara and Eric went to Boston and NYC a couple weeks before Christmas in 2018. Sara adores NYC, and was very excited for Eric to finally visit her favorite city. Eric, unbeknownst to Sara, had purchased an engagement ring and planned to propose to Sara in Central Park the last day of their trip. Well, Eric woke up that last day sick with a horrible stomach bug. Eric couldn't even leave the room that day, and was unable to propose as planned. Yep, Eric traveled from California, to Boston, to NYC, and back to California with an engagement ring in his camera bag. Eric decided when Sara's parents were in town for Christmas, he would propose to her at the Pirate Tower in Laguna Beach. With Sara's parents watching and snapping pictures, Eric finally got his chance to propose to Sara. After waiting on that ring a few years, she immediately said YES!

Sara and Eric, despite having many mutual friends, had never met until a 4th of July party in 2013. After meeting, Sara decided to add Eric as a facebook friend - he sent her a message the next day and that next week, they had their first date 7/13/13. Well, as you now know, the date went well enough that years later they decided to become Mr. & Mrs. Dalke.
