What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our wedding ceremony will start at 4:00, so please arrive by 3:45. As long as it isn't raining, we will be having the ceremony outdoors.

What should I wear?

Answer

Our dress code is cocktail/semi-formal attire. Please know that our wedding venue is on top of a hill where it is typically quite windy. October weather in Vermont is unpredictable and can be hot or very cold, so check the forecast so you'll be prepared! If it's cold, we will have a heater inside the barn.

How do I get to the wedding venue?

Please note, if you are using Apple Maps, you will need to enter the address of the venue (1073 Upper Quarry Road, Newport VT) rather than the name of the venue. In Google Maps, you can search "The Barn at the Top of the World" and get directions. Directions: If you are driving north on I-91, take exit 28 for US-5 S. Turn left onto US-5 S towards Newport. Turn right onto Quarry Road for a half mile. Turn right onto Lower Quarry Road. This will turn into Upper Quarry Road. Continue on Upper Quarry Road until you see a sign on your left for The Top of the World. Follow this drive up to the venue where you will find parking.
