“Pereyra, party of two!”

It started as a joke… and look at them now! Daisy jokingly got Tinder because a coworker at the time raved about free food from dates LOL. Daisy remembers exactly where she was when she matched with Gerardo… the lower level parking lot at CHOC. Gerardo initially asked her to go watch the Jungle Book in theatres but Daisy didn’t think that was a good first date idea so she declined. Later, Daisy did not want to be the third wheel to a friend’s hangout so she invited Gerardo to go dancing at a nightclub (because apparently that WAS a good idea for a first date LOL) and Gerardo said yes! After being about an hour late (yikes!) Daisy and Gerardo met IRL and the rest is history! Ironically, after a couple months of hanging out, Gerardo originally asked Daisy to be his girlfriend at a nightclub however apparently she didn’t hear him so days later when Daisy asked Gerardo where things were heading he formally asked her to be his girlfriend outside a movie theater, in Northridge. Now 8 years and many memories later they finally are saying “I do” to forever more, together.
