LAX has a ton of flight options and will most likely be cheaper than flying into John Wayne (Santa Ana) or Long Beach. It is a little more than an hour away from Laguna Beach.

John Wayne Airport (Santa Ana) is the closest airport to Laguna Beach as it is located in North Orange County. Highly recommend if you can find affordable flights.

Long Beach Airport is slightly closer to Laguna than LAX. A good option to look at as well.

There are a lot of house rentals in the Laguna area. Other nearby areas you can also look at that are within 20-30 min of reception are Newport Beach, Dana Point, Costa Mesa, San Clemente, & Huntington Beach.
