The day was May 30, 2023, in Barcelona, Spain. Cocina Hermano Torres Restaurant, if you don't know it, google it because it was the experience of a lifetime. First off we thought we had been tricked because we couldn't find the entrance. Once we figured it out, we walked in and it was beautiful, classy yet relaxed. I mean the waiters had sneakers and the kitchen was in the middle of the restaurant. We could see them make our food, which was very cool. For hours our tastebuds experienced an explosion of so many tastes and flavors. We laughed and spoke about how amazing it was to be here in Spain. It was the trip of a lifetime. As the night closed, three hours later, we received our "Aperitif." An espresso martini with three coffee beans on top. Fernando hands his phone to one of our team of servers and quietly says something in Espanol. A photo turned into a special message that led to the big question, "Will You Marry Me?"
