Boarding time is strictly enforced! Please understand that parking and transportation in and around the marina can be an issue, so plan accordingly
The cruise will stay in the bay (it does not go out into open water, i.e. the gulf), so it is unlikely. But if you might be susceptible to seasickness, it is recommended to take a Dramamine 24hrs BEFORE you board, and then another upon boarding. Nonetheless, in the event that someone gets queasy, the staff has methods settling your stomach and helping you balance your equilibrium. (i.e. ginger ale, centering you on the forward top deck staring at the horizon)
SOLARIS yacht has 3 decks. Only the main deck is wheelchair accessible, and there are two flights of stairs onboard to get to the top deck. Additionally, ladies are advised not to wear spiked heels on the dock, as the dock is very long and made of boards for which a heel can easily get stuck.
Rain or shine, the knot will be tied, our wedding cruise will get underway, and by golly there WILL be dancing!! If needed, the ceremony will be moved indoors. The only reason that our exceptional captain will not get underway is in the event of extremely high winds, in which case the event will continue and we will remain docked until he is certain that it is safe.
Trust me landlubbers, we'll all be partying like pirates that night! 😉
We love the little ones and we know how much you do too; however, we want our wedding to be your night off. So make arrangements and treat yourself! Please understand that the only exception is children in the wedding party.
We will kindly be disinclined to acquiesce to your request.
