When you RSVP for yourself on the website, you will be able to RSVP for yourself and everyone in your party. If there is no one added to your party, then please respectfully reach out to us so that we can make a decision based on our budget and current attendance. Please do not just bring a guest without notifying us first.
Yes. There are two entrances at the venue but one will be closed off to traffic. There will be someone out helping with parking. Please allow that person to guide you on where to park so that we can be sure everyone is able to park safely.
Please do not walk THROUGH the venue. There will be markers and signs up directing you on which path to take to go around the front side of the venue to here the ceremony will be held.
Our wedding is intended to be more like a reunion of families. After the main meal is served, traditional events such as cake cutting will take place and then we will do an "exit" in case anyone is wanting to leave earlier than others. The rest of the evening will consist of games like cornhole, horseshoes, tic tac toe, giant sorry, etc. so bring your lawn chairs and comfy clothes to change in to if you'd like. We would love to be able to just sit and visit with you and enjoy your company.
Yes. Immediately after the ceremony, we will be taking some photos but the guests will have access to some finger foods until the reception begins. Should be around 30-40 minutes. The reception food will be Jambalaya, salad, bread, sweet tea, unsweet tea and water.
We do not plan to have a DJ but we will have music.
Please respect our wishes on this issue. We know you want your own images from our special day and we appreciate that so much, and there will be plenty of time for that at the reception. We have hired a photographer to capture our special moments in the ceremony. Once the pastor, groom and his party are standing at the front, please put your phones away until the reception. Thank you so much in advance for honoring our wishes.
No alcohol is allowed at the venue.
