Please RSVP by August 1st. We would greatly appreciate if you could RSVP sooner than later!
You can contact the Lodge directly at 802.468.5251. Let them know you are booking a room with the Cuerbo/Rasweiler wedding. For the most accurate reservation process, call the venue directly and do not book on their website.
Our ceremony is set to begin at 4:00pm on Sunday September 17th, 2023. If you are staying on site, you will be able to check into your rooms earlier in the day -- Please coordinate with the Lake Bomoseen Lodge staff to discuss check in times and lodging details at 802-468-5251. There is plenty of parking on-site for those who are not staying at The Lodge, so I would aim to arrive at least 30 minutes before to get parked and seated at the ceremony site. PLEASE NOTE: There will be a small walk uphill to our ceremony site. If you or someone in your party is unable to make this walk and/or needs assistance, we will have staff ready with golf carts to help!
On the day of our wedding, the ceremony will take place at 4:00pm. Cocktail hour will directly follow the ceremony. From there, we will head into the reception area and dinner and dancing will go on until 9:30/10:00pm! For those of you looking to stay and keep the party going (we know we are!!!), we will be hosting a "late night" party in the bar area with drinks and additional snacks from 11:00pm until 2:00am.
Yes! There will be on-site staff to help guide you to a parking spot. All parking will be at the Lake Bomoseen Lodge.

Absolutely! Please let us know of any and all food allergies or dietary restrictions so we can be sure to accommodate you. Our venue has ensured us that they can and will accommodate most dietary needs, so please let us know if you have any allergies or dietary restrictions!
For this event, we have extended invitations to children of our immediate families. We love your little ones, but unfortunately we can only accommodate so many guests. If you need to discuss, please contact either Ian or Amanda as soon as possible!
We have plenty of housing options available at the Lake Bomoseen Lodge and are hoping you are staying on-site! By staying on-site, you can celebrate with us as you'd like and walk mere steps over to your room when you are ready to call it a night. Because of this, we will not be providing transportation to other hotels in the area.
We ask that our guests wear semi-formal/cocktail attire. Our ceremony will take place outdoors, so it is recommended to have a sweater or light jacket. Comfortable shoes are highly recommended - avoid thin, stiletto style heels.
Plenty! We will be providing the alcohol for our entire night. For those who do not drink, we will also have a variety of non-alcoholic options! If you do choose to drink alcohol, all we ask is you drink responsibly. For our late night bar crew, you may want to have some cash on hand as the late night bar may require cash/credit purchases!
Our entire day will be located at the Lake Bomoseen Lodge and Tap Room. The address is: 2551 VERMONT 30N, CASTLETON, VT 05732.
The best option for air-travel, if needed, would be to fly into Albany International Airport in Albany, NY. Rental cars are accessible through various vendors in the airport, as well as in throughout the Capital Region. The other airport option is the airport in Burlington, VT. If you need assistance with your travel needs, contact Amanda or Ian!
There is a TON of great options for local hiking. Some of the suggestions include The Zen Gardens at Taconic Mountains Ramble State Park, the rail trail at Castleton University, the Bomoseen hiking loop at Bomoseen State Park, the Glen Lake trails at Glen Lake, Lake St. Catherine trails at Lewis Deane Nature Preserve, and the Slate Valley trails in Poultney, VT.
YES! The Lodge has a Tiki Bar Boat available for rent, with food and beverage packages. If you are making a weekend out of our event, we highly recommend inquiring about this! It can hold up to 13 people and they have a variety of different food and beverage packages.
