COVID-19 Guidelines/ FAQs

Thank you for attending the Nursing Class of 2022 Pining Ceremony! We are all excited to be part of this special celebration! To ensure the safety of all, please read over the COVID-19 guidelines below:

Why must I RSVP?

Answer

By RSVPing to this event, you are agreeing that you have read, understood, and agree to the COVID-related precautions in place for the event.

Question

Can I attend the event if I am experinecing COVID-like symptoms?

Answer

Please do NOT attend the ceremony if you currently have symptoms of COVID-19, are waiting on COVID-19 test results, have tested positive for COVID-19, have been in contact with someone who is positive for COVID-19, or have been in contact with someone who has symptoms of COVID-19 in the past 14 days. Should I wear a mask?

Answer

Masks are optional for this event. Free disposable masks will be provided upon check-in table for those who want to wear a mask.

Will hand sanitizer available?

Answer

Yes, hand sanitizer will be available. Please ask the volunteers where the hand sanitizer is located.

What if I have a child under 3?

Answer

Guests under the age of 3 must remain seated on their guardian’s lap during the ceremony.

How will the pinning process work?

Answer

The student will be pinned by either a friend or a family member. The graduate's name will be called to walk to the stage and BOTH the graduate and the pinning guest will walk to the stage to do the pinning.

What if I have a question during the event?

Answer

If you have any questions about guidelines during the ceremony, feel free to address any of the volunteers that will be present to ensure guidelines are being met.
