We became inseparable in no time but what really sealed the deal was when our adorable fur baby, Princess, gave her paws-up approval. When she wagged her tail and snuggled up to Jason it was like the universe was giving us its nod of approval too. That's when we knew – it was destiny. Our shared love for teaching brought us together, Lady Day serenaded our first steps, and Princess sealed the deal.

Our proposal story is like something out of a romantic comedy! Crystal, as you may know, is a hiking enthusiast, and I thought proposing on a trail with stunning waterfalls would be the ultimate dream for her. But can you believe it? When we got there, not a single waterfall in sight. Talk about bad timing! But hey, life loves to throw surprises our way. So, there we stood, on this gorgeous bridge that gave us the most breathtaking view and I just went for it. Right on that bridge, without any fancy waterfalls, I asked Crystal to marry me. And you know what? Her smile and the sparkle in her eyes were all the 'waterfall' I needed in that moment.
