We are so excited to see you on our big day! In order to keep everyone safe, we’re kindly requesting that all guests comply with the following COVID health and safety rules in order to safely attend our wedding: • Proof of full COVID-19 vaccination–if you have been fully vaccinated at least 14 days prior to the wedding, please bring your vaccination card (or photo of it) and a photo ID to our check-in desk at the wedding. • Proof of negative COVID-19 rapid test–if you haven’t been vaccinated, please have a COVID test done within 48 hours before the wedding. Please bring your results with you, as well as a photo ID to our check-in desk at the wedding. We truly hope that everyone will comply with these rules but understand if you can’t. In the interest of ensuring the safety of all guests, vendors, and venue employees, unfortunately, no guest will be admitted to our celebration without proof of a negative test or full vaccination.
Lauren and Mark met online after both swipping right on Tinder. After chatting for a while, the two decided to meet in person. Lauren had never met anyone online before and was quite nervous. So nervous, actually, that she was planning on just not showing up. Obviously, and good thing, that didn’t happen. On May 8, 2014, about a month after the in person meeting, Mark must’ve realized that Lauren is the coolest person in the world and told her that he’d like to make things exclusive. Lauren agreed and the rest is history.
After five and a half years, and a little bit of pressure from Lauren, Mark finally popped the question! He asked her parents for their permission at the beginning of December 2019 and got down on one knee on Christmas Eve. The two were celebrating the holiday with family and friends and at the beginning of dinner, after the annual Christmas Eve toast, Mark pushed his chair back, got down on one knee, and asked Lauren to marry him. She ugly cried a little and said YES! The two were surrounded by so much love as family and friends celebrated with hugs and kisses.
