Can I bring a guest/date?

Answer

We, unfortunately, cannot accommodate additional guests. Due to limited capacity, we can only allow the people named on your invitation. Your invitation will be made to "(Your name) & guest" if a plus one has been given to you.

Are kids invited?

Answer

Due to the limited numbers, we hope you appreciate that children are only invited if named. Your invitation will be made out to "The [Your Last Name] & Family" if your children have been invited and "Mr. & Mrs" if only you and your significant other have been invited.

Are there any colors we should avoid wearing?

Answer

We kindly ask that you avoid colors traditionally reserved for the bride - white, ivories, and creams.

We would love to see our family and friends dressed up with us! We are requesting a formal dress code.

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will take place indoors at Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Shawnee, KS. The cocktail hour and reception will take place both at The Farms at Woodend Springs in Bonner Springs, KS. Our cocktail hour will be outside of the venue but under a covered patio.

What type of food and drink will be served during the cocktail hour and reception?

Answer

Food will be catered by Sombreros Mexican Catina. It will be served buffet style! There will be an assortment of beverages including wine, beer, and non alcoholic like fountain drinks and more.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes - The liquor is on us but the hangover is on you!

We kindly ask that our guests RSVP by May 30th, 2023.

Answer

Your presence is present enough, but should you wish to bring a gift to our wedding, there will be a gift table for your convenience.
