Our Story

"Does this section need to be formal?" he asked. "I don't see why it would," she responded. ... In the land of magical realism (henceforth referred to as Omaha, Nebraska), our hero, a ruggedly-good-looking youth filled with ambition, charm, and unparalleled modesty, set forth on a quest of utmost urgency: becoming a respectable man in society. This journey brought him to the esteemed halls of learning at Creighton University, where the path to a degree in nursing was littered with fellow students bludgeoned by stress and irrelevant busywork. Little did our hero know that the nursing degree was, in actuality, a side quest. The true mission revealed itself in short order - at orientation, in fact. An image of loveliness arose from the rabbling hoard of nursing students to announce her intentions to be romantically pursued by our hero. (Ok, she was actually back in school "learning the craft of caring for others after discerning out of the convent." All I heard was, "date me.") Stricken with awe and the looming loss of autonomy that comes with relationship, the youth decided to play it cool. This naturally led to the first conversation between the boy and bonny lass to be on the subject of health insurance. Somehow, this failed to woo our heroine. Months of consternation plagued the young man. Finally, he had all that he could take, and he could take no more. He must answer the song of the siren. He must take hidden pearl on a romantic rendezvous to enjoy sushi. It was an easy sell. After all, the other guys had faces like shovels. And have you seen our hero? Muy guapo. There are many more aspects of this story - from prophetic little sisters to food-sick-ridden blizzards. But, alas, this website has a character limitation. You must be commended for reading to this point. I would have given up many superfluous sentences ago. We dearly hope to see you at our wedding. Please pray for us - that the Lord may preserve us in our vocation to marriage.

Crainke?

Crain + Warnke = Crainke, the name we've been dubbed until we wed!
