HERS: It was a cold snowy night, as I was curled up on the couch, browsing through hot online singles. And then up comes a red bearded man with some deep set dimples. Needless to say, my heart did a little pitter patter, and I swiped right. Turns out he had already swiped right (apparently he likes older women)… and BOOM. On the first date; we had the typical first date dinner but then… he asked after dinner, “wanna go to Target?” And I thought man I might have to marry this guy! Just when I thought that things couldn’t get better; the second date consisted of wings, beer, football, and PULL TABS. I thought THIS IS IT, THIS IS THE ONE. Then came date 3; dinner, a movie, and Alex asking me to be his girlfriend in a crowded Dave & Buster’s, right after I dominated at pop-shot (his version might be different, don’t believe it)! I knew so early on he was truly made for me. HIS: So Sara and I met on bumble; she swiped right on me, but I had already liked her profile so one day we decided to start talking. We talked for a while on the phone, text, and FaceTime. Then one day we decided to meet; so I said let’s meet halfway and we could go to BJ’s for dinner. So we did and it was the best first date ever. We went to dinner and then I asked her do you want to Target and Meijer and walk around... she said yes. Then our second date got even better we decided to meet up on a Sunday to watch the AFC championship at B-Dubs which turned into food, beer, and 170 dollars worth of pull tabs. Our third date was the time when I knew it was the right time to ask Sara to be my girlfriend. We went to dinner at Mission BBQ, then went and saw this weird movie at Emagine theaters and then went to Dave and Busters so I could beat her in axe throwing but I was like this is perfect timing to ask her to be my girlfriend. So I grew some balls and did and she said yes and made me the happiest guy in the world.

HERS: I had a very tough and emotional day at work and Alex kept asking when I would be home (here I thought he just missed me). When I got home, scrubs and all, he was a bit cleaned up and I said “Hey, why are you so dressed up?!” Alex said “Head into the house then come back out.” I walked to the back door to find a note saying to follow the roses to our bedroom. When I got there, there was a final note saying how much I meant to him and to come back outside. I was totally oblivious. I thought how sweet it was he got so many roses knowing how emotionally tough my day had been and I thought wow I hit the jackpot. So I walk back outside… in my scrubs, COW SCRUB HAT, and SOCKS… to be greeted by Alex on the patio with a hug. I then let my emotions go and cried onto him for a minute or so. Alex took a step back and got down on a knee… I couldn’t believe it. I cried so hard I couldn’t talk and poor guy probably thought I’d never answer him. He finally stood back up and hugged me and I nodded yes. Luckily for us, our neighbors knew and secretly got photos of the whole thing; again, cow scrub cap and all. That’s how you know it’s true love🫶🏻 HIS: I fell in love with Sara since the day I met her I knew she was the one. She showed me the ring that she really wanted a month or few after we started dating I’m like she is going to get that ring. I moved down to Ohio to live with the love my life. Then on August 19th I was at work delivering the mail and I’m like I’m going to ask my best friend to marry me after I get off work and get home. Which I was originally going to wait until the day of her birthday. I knew she was having a bad day at work because of the peds case she was working on so I wanted to make her day five times better by ask her to be my wife. So on my way home from work I stopped at Kroger and got two things of roses. I put a note on the back door saying come in pick up the rose and follow the other roses to the bedroom. Then I had a bunch of roses on the bed with the other note that says every rose means how much you mean to me and how much I love now come back outside and I will be waiting. So Sara came back outside and I was waiting for her I told her that she means everything and the world to me and I love her. I got down on one knee and Sara will you marry me and she started crying again even though she had already been crying from work. I asked her, are you gonna say something? She said yes and made me the happiest guy in the world again.
