We're getting married!

Shane and Courtney’s love story began at Trader Joe’s, where they both worked. Co-workers couldn’t help but comment on how adorable they’d be together—probably because they share the unique bond of being hapa (half-Japanese and half-white, shoutout to our awesome parents for that one!). For a while, the timing wasn’t quite right, but after a couple of years, fate stepped in, and we’ve been inseparable ever since—nearly seven amazing years and counting! Our shared love for good food, the beach, and outdoor adventures has taken us on countless journeys, including the bold decision to leave sunny coastal California for a new chapter in Denver. While we’ve loved exploring life in the mountains, don’t be surprised if we find our way back to Southern California once Courtney finishes grad school. Through it all, we’ve built a life full of love, laughter, and adventures—including becoming dog parents to our sweet (and slightly chaotic) black lab, Doug. We’re beyond grateful for the love and support of our families and friends. Bringing everyone together to celebrate our journey and our future means the world to us. We feel so lucky to have found each other and can’t wait to see what’s next for the two of us (and Doug, of course).
