Yarrow Cottage is a 9 minute drive from Cornwell Manor where the ceremony and reception is being held. Sleeping up to four people in two double bedrooms, the two-storey self-catered property is a dream destination for couples or a small family. Yarrow is located on Junction Road in Churchill, just a three-minute walk to The Chequer’s Pub, the village green and the church. Churchill is located between Kingham (mainline trains to Paddington) and Chipping Norton, a five-minute drive from each, and only 3 miles from Daylesford Organic farm. Kingham station, on the main London to Hereford line, is a five-minute drive away, with fast trains running regularly throughout the day, taking around an hour and a half from Paddington. From West London it takes around an hour and 45 minutes, from Bristol it’s an hour and a half, and from Oxford it’s around 45 minutes. Further directions can be given at the time of booking.

The Summerhouse is a 19 minute drive from Cornwell Manor. Edwardian Summerhouse overlooks water and rose gardens. Sumptuous rooms, sunny terrace for drinks, charming host who looks after you well. You stay in Martin and Pauls’s Summerhouse – splendid with antiques and china galore. Bedrooms (one ground floor) have well-dressed beds and immaculate shower rooms; step through a ‘Narnia’ door (cleverly reclaimed old linen press) into the huge second double. Martin rustles up a generous breakfast and the view from your table is a treat: a 300-foot pond with ducks darting between the lilies. Blenheim and Oxford both an easy drive; drinks by the fire in the richly furnished drawing room on your return.
