Our Story

Technically our first photo together from Summer 2018 that Mack found as photographic evidence that we met three years before Courtney remembers…

This was actually our first real picture together from Summer 2021 (when Courtney remembers)

The beginning of our relationship consisted of many many FaceTime calls when Mack lived in Charlottesville and Courtney lived in NYC

Our first concert together was Quinn XCII and Chelsea Cutler at Radio City Music Hall — it was electric, ask us to tell you the story about it some time

The early days of our relationship meant lots of visits for Mack to NYC and Courtney to cville — we got to have some fun times exploring the city together

Every chance we get, we try to explore the mountains and woods and outdoors

Ask Mack about the one time Courtney fell in a river and cut open her knee so deep you could see bone

The summer of 2022 was a big moment for us, we went to the beach with Courtney’s family (this pic) and Maine with Mack’s family (next pic), and this was the first time we spent extended time together

In Maine! Two weeks later and we still love each other!

This is the first week Mack moved to NYC, THANK GOODNESS!

Now that we live in the same city, we can travel to other places to do fun things… this photo was in Vermont where we went skiing with friends, don’t ask Mack about Colorado

We can also do fun things in the city… like singing “Breaking Free” from HSM together at karaoke, living out Courtney’s dream and also stealing Mack away from his OG karaoke co-star, Brogan

We also lead YoungLife together on the Upper East Side of Manhattan in which we mentor middle and high school kids and tell them about the love of Jesus — this was taken at YoungLife camp

Fun times at our friends’ wedding, and had to show off Mack’s stache…

All those good times together, and we still can’t get enough. We figured we’d be pals for life, so Mack proposed at Summer’s Best Two Weeks, the Christian sports camp we both went to and worked at

Courtney couldn’t keep it together — Mack pulled off this huge surprise at a place that was incredibly meaningful to both of us

We’re loving the engaged life, but can’t wait for marriage!
