See the links below for handy information to get to Athens, GA! Athens is 61 miles from Atlanta, which is the easiest airport to fly into! The highways from Atlanta to Athens can get busy in rush hour, so we'd recommend getting to Athens early if possible. There are lots of great coffee shops, restaurants, and bars to hang out at. The Athens Botanical Gardens are also open to the public all day if you'd like to come early to explore! Athens is a college town and has lots of hotels and AirBnbs available, as well as a shuttle service if you'd prefer not to get a rental car. It also has a cute downtown that would be great to spend a day in.

There are lots of hotel options in Athens! Our wedding is not on a gameday weekend, but we would recommend booking early because of other events in the city.
