Question

What towns can I stay in and still be close to the wedding venue?

Answer

To stay within 20 minutes or less of the wedding venue, you can stay in the following towns: Stevenson, Carson, North Bonneville, Skamania, Cascade Locks (OR), Hemlock/Stabler, Home Valley. To be within 30-45 minutes: White Salmon, Hood River (OR), Camas, Washougal, and certain parts of Vancouver.

What if all the hotels listed are already booked?

Please be sure to check Airbnb & Vrbo as well for places to stay! If you are still struggling to find somewhere, please contact Brandon or Courtney ASAP.

Question

Are there any ride share companies in the area of the venue?

Answer

Unfortunately Uber, Lyft, etc. are not options in this area. If you are flying in and need a ride from the airport, please plan ahead to either rent a car or coordinate a ride with someone doing the same. Also, please keep this in mind for the night of the wedding if you'll be drinking!

Are the reception & ceremony at the same location? Will there be parking close to the venue?

Answer

Yes! The venue for reception and the ceremony are both at the fairgrounds. The only thing you'll have to do is move a chair from the grassy area for the reception to inside the Exhibit Hall for the ceremony. There is tons of free parking at the fairgrounds. We will have people (and signs) there day of to help you get to the right spot.

What should I wear to the wedding?

For attire recommendations, please see the details for the reception & ceremony under the "Schedule" section of this website. Wedding party will be in eucalpytus & cabernet. We have zero preference whether you wear similar colors to the wedding theme or not. Whatever you feel best in!

Is the wedding indoor or outdoor? Will there be shade cover?

Answer

The reception will be completely outdoors so there will not be any shade cover during this part. We are planning to keep it under 30 minutes so no one will melt! The ceremony will be in the Exhibit Hall building. The outdoor grassy area will still be available to use for socializing and lawn games! Whether you want to soak up the sun or hide from it, there will be a perfect spot for you throughout the night.
