We went to different high schools but spent some time around each other because of our mutual friend Kailyn. We officially met after starting a summer job at a pirate museum and haunted house. Within a year we became good friends, and the rest is history!

One evening in late July/early August of 2014 we planned to meet up with all of our friends to go to a screening of Rocky Horror Picture Show (something we loved doing). At the last minute, everyone besides us had to cancel, but we decided to go just the two of us. After a night of laughing and doing the time warp, we had our first kiss. Since then, our relationship has been framed around laughter and good bad movies.

While in San Francisco with our friends, we got engaged at the Palace of Fine Arts. The original plan was Chrissy Field Beach, but the fog was covering the Golden Gate Bridge. After taking a couple of photos, Ben asked, and promptly got tackled! We are forever grateful for the small haunted house that brought us together and cannot wait for a life long partnership.
