When should I RSVP?

We are requesting this event to stay as an adult-only event.

Is there a dress code?

It’s July, it will be hot. We aren’t going to be too picky so be casual. Dress casually but not too casual. Remember, it is still a wedding! Our only request is not to wear our wedding colors which are burgundy, iridescent white, vintage maeve, and any shades of white. If you are still unsure, you can reach out. Thanks in advance for the understanding.

Is this an unplugged ceremony?

This is an unplugged ceremony so we request phones be put away and you be present with us.

Is this outdoor or indoor?

Answer

Weather permitted, the ceremony will be outdoors and water will be accessible. The reception will be indoors. If weather does not work in our favor, ceremony will be moved indoors.

Will transportation be provided to/from the hotel and to/from the venue?

Answer

Yes. A party bus will be picking up at Holiday Inn in Yorkville. Although transportation is at Holiday Inn does not mean you have to book there. Hampton Inn is across the street from Holiday Inn. There is a 3:00 pm slot and a 3:30 pm time slot. Please keep in mind that the 3:00 pm slot is reserved for immediate family of the Bride & Groom. You’re welcome to join that time slot if spots are available but we ask guests to arrive at 4:00 pm so just have that in mind.
