Jordan and I met in September of 2019 while attending Texas State University. He was working at 54th Street, and I was working on campus for a work-study. Jordan mustered up the courage to ask me out on a date, and we went to dinner. I thought he didn't like me, but to my surprise, he asked if he could see me again the next day! A few weeks later, we made it official in the middle of a Noah Kahan concert. We've been best friends and inseparable ever since.
We were on vacation with Jordan's family in Rosemary Beach, FL in July of 2023. I had a hunch that he was planning to propose during this trip, and as each day passed without a proposal, I started to think I was wrong. Finally, on Tuesday, we went down to the beach to take "family photos" during the sunset. I was told to look into the ocean to see some non-existent dolphins in the distance. When I turned around, Jordan was on one knee and I could tell he was super nervous, but he gave the most beautiful and heartfelt speech before asking me the big question. And then I said yes, and now we get to be best friends FOREVER! We can't wait to celebrate the beginning of this new chapter of our lives with all of our closest family and friends. See y'all in Fredericksburg!
