Alicia & I met our sophomore year of high school, &I feel like I have known her forever. Our friendship is one of a kind. She is someone I know I can always count on. I've had the pleasure over the 5 years to get to know Joel and there's a few things I've learned from him over the years. If he sets a time to meet up and chill add 2 hours to that time. Anything can be negotiable, literally anything. Also as you get older in life, your circle shortens year end, year out and you have some friends you realize have an agenda but Joel stays true. He wants you to be better and encourages you with each and every encounter you have with him. We met 15 years ago at the mall. I instantly connected with Alicia’s drama-free personality. She has literally never changed (I’m pretty sure she’s the same height too). We can go weeks without speaking & it’s like no time has passed. 5 years ago I was home from college & got a call from Alicia. She was in town & wanted to go out. She had a new boyfriend & slipped in she needed to stay at my house because Orlando was never going to allow him to stay at theirs. I agreed & when I met Joel I thought, “I’m going to get in trouble for having this grown ass man stay at my house, Alicia owes me!” Time passed & I realized Alicia never had anything bad to say about Joel. We've been friends since 6th grade, giving us more than 16 years of fun and laughter. From dealing with braces in middle to sneaking drinks in high school and chugging drinks at bars since college. A friend to confide in, a pen pal when distance is between us, and my number one party pal when you're in town. Now for some reminiscing: going to the movies while our moms waited outside, you fracturing my tailbone when pulling my chair out in 8th grade, high school update calls, beach days with your mom, getting kicked out of everywhere in soho, sick off Taco Bus, scootering around downtown, and playing my teladoc. I couldn't be more happy that you found someone as great as Joel. He's become a great friend and I'm so appreciative to have you two as lifelong friends. I love you both!
