Adam and I were high school sweethearts. We met on the football field and were inseparable for 3 years. Graduations came and went and time changed us. We decided to go our separate ways with the knowledge that we still loved each other, but our lives were moving in two different directions. We said the hardest goodbyes that we've ever had to do. Eight long years, 2 kids and several failed relationships later, we found each other again. Adam was neck deep in the army and God was telling me it was time for a change. We had found each other again, during a time in our lives that we needed each other the most. Adam was deployed at the time and I was able to meet and fall in love with his two children, Harley and Gio first. These two stuck to me like glue and became a piece of me. When Adam and I finally reunited, there was no separating us. He asked me to marry him three and a half years later at the same restaurant we shared our senior prom dinner. I cannot imagine this life without him. 5,617 days later, he's finally my forever.
