Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please make sure to arrive to the ceremony 30 mins early as this will allow time to find your seats and settle in. We will not be able to accommodate late arrivals as it will cause distractions for not only the bride and groom but also the other guests.

Question

Can we take pictures at the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an unplugged ceremony, we are asking that all phones be put away and turned to silent/off during the ceremony. We have hired a professional to capture this important day and memory and we would hate to have a moment for our photographer blocked by a well intentioned person taking photos with their cell phone. We promise to share all photos after the day, and once the ceremony is over, please feel free to take as many photos as you want.

Question

When should we RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by May 10, 2024

Question

What if I don’t rsvp by the deadline?

Answer

If we do not receive an RSVP back from you by our deadline, you will be marked as “not attending”. The reason for this being we must provide an accurate guest count for our vendors within a timely manner. We hope you understand and will miss celebrating with you.

Question

Where should we stay?

Answer

We have a room block at Country inn and Suites, where the reception will be held, and no driving will be needed. Please go to the travel page for contact information and how to reach the hotel. There are other hotels in the area that will require minimal driving.

Question

Can we bring our children?

Answer

We absolutely love your little ones and will have activities set up for them to enjoy at the reception, we just ask that during the ceremony, they are seated and respectful. Please bring your kids to celebrate, or get a sitter if you wish and have a date night. If you do plan to bring your children, please contact the couple so we can add them to your RSVP list.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We would love to invite everyone to dress up with us, but want everyone comfortable. Please just refrain from wearing white or shades of white. The ceremony will be held in the grass so please plan accordingly if needed.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

For all you out of towners, welcome to the Midwest where in June it could be sunny, rainy or even worse.. snowy. Please check the forecast before packing and fingers crossed for the perfect spring day!

Question

Where should we park?

Answer

Parking will be made visible during the ceremony and for the reception there is a huge parking lot. This should not be an issue.
