#You Had Me At Carp

On June 9th, 2023 Cory, the kids, and I went to Omaha, Nebraska with Grandma Dawn, and Grandpa Jeff for a get away for the weekend, and to just bring the kids to the zoo! Friday we all traveled to Omaha in the morning, went shopping in Nebraska Crossings, after awhile we went to the hotel to check in downtown Omaha and get settled in. We had lunch/snacked in the hotel and just hung out. That night around 5:45pm we all got dressed to go on a Cinderella Carriage (Oaklynn dressed up as Cinderella to surprise grandma and grandpa). While on the carriage Cory asked if we could stop to take a photo in the greenery area in the park, after that he asked me to come with him, got down on one knee, said words I don’t remember (lol) and asked me to marry him. (Of course I said yes!) After that we finished our carriage ride (which a lot of people loved Oaklynn’s outfit on the carriage) (P.S. Cory was so nervous). We enjoyed the rest of the night in the hotel as the kids were getting tired, Saturday we just hung out and went swimming, Sunday we went to the zoo, and went home afterwards ENGAGED!
