December 9th around midnight, Melissa was on tinder... because why not. All of the sudden, tinder notified Melissa that she had been super liked by Cory E. She scrolled through his pictures, read his bio and thought the account was fake. So she messaged him. He messages back, and they began to talk for hours. He then gave her his phone number and instead of texting her he called. They again, talked on the phone for hours. Late Sunday December 10th, they went on their firsy date! They watched Mean Girls and Melissa made half a baked potato and grilled cheese for lunch for the new couple. Cory left the date and Melissa screamed because she knew he was something special. The two arranged to see each other again a few days later and they have been attached to eachother ever since!
On a rainy day in Boston, Cory and Melissa set out to the Boston aquarium. Cory mentioned that we would try to get dinner with Melissa’s sister and brother in law after hanging out downtown. Little did Melissa know this day would be the beginning of her life as an Everett. After spending time at the aquarium, Cory and Melissa headed to Quincy Market and watched the christmas lights on the massive tree. Melissa was mad they were outside because it was raining and her hair was getting frizzy and nasty. Cory suggested they stop and grab a drink. 4 drinks later, we walked to sephoria and sprayed way too much perfume on each other, laughing and making the employees mad the entire time. Cory then looked at his phone and said “your sister is on the way to dinner wanna get going?” And of course Melissa said sure. The couple walked towards Chart House resturant and Cory suggested they walk through some pretty Christmas lights at Christopher Columbus park. At the end of the tunnel of lights stood Melissa’s Grandparents and her sister. Cory turned around took a few steps back into the tunnel and began to tear up and tell Melissa how much she means to him. Then Cory got on one knee and asked Melissa to be his wife, and of course she said yes!!!
