We met the old fashioned way... Facebook haha! We started chatting the week of Thanksgiving 2021 and hit it off right away, many many video calls later we met in person on December 4th 2021 and became instant best friends!

Alex proposed on Christmas day 2023 at our family Christmas dinner with a houseful of my family present. We all had our heads bowed as my dad had just finished blessing the food, I lifted my head up to see Alex getting down on one knee. He asked and of course I said YES!
