Answer

The RSVP Deadline is Tuesday, November 26, 2021. You may RSVP via mail, with the enclosure in your invitation.

Question

May I bring my child(ren) and/or a plus one?

Answer

Each invitation is carefully and thoughtfully addressed to indicate whom exactly is included in that invitation. Plus ones are invited for each individual over 18, unless otherwise indicated. Children of the bride and groom's immediate family are welcome, and other children are considered on a case-by-case basis. If you are unsure, please reach out to the bride or groom to verify. Ex. "Mr. John Jones & Guest" Plus one? Yes. "The Jones Family" Children? Yes. "Mr. and Mrs. John Jones" Children? Preferred no, will consider on a case by case basis at the request of the parent. If you are planning on bringing your family to the Colorado Springs area during this time, please reach out to the bride or groom for child-care recommendations.

Question

What Should I Wear?

Answer

The actual wedding ceremony will take place in a Catholic church, meaning it is semi-formal. Men are encouraged to wear a shirt and tie, and women are encouraged to wear a dress, skirt, or dress slacks. There will be kneeling, so please be comfortable. This link is very helpful https://oureverydaylife.com/wedding-etiquette-for-catholic-ceremonies-12080831.html. Cocktail Hour and Dinner and Dancing are Black Tie or Mess Dress Preferred. This means that guests are encouraged to choose floor-length gowns, formal suits, or tuxedos. Military members are encouraged to wear their Mess Dress uniform. There will be plenty of time between the ceremony and cocktail hour to return to your accommodations, refresh yourself and change into formal attire.

Question

Where do I park? Is transportation provided?

Answer

Transportation is not provided. Our ceremony is within walking distance of The Broadmoor and our reception is at The Broadmoor. Guests are encouraged to use the room block available. There is free parking available at St. Paul Catholic Church in the lot adjacent to the church for the ceremony, if guests wish to drive. If not staying at The Broadmoor, guests are encouraged to utilize services such as Uber or Lyft. There is also complimentary valet available for wedding guests not staying at The Broadmoor.
