Our story began in high school, where Tyler met Corinne at Dana Hills High School and quickly asked her to be his girlfriend and attended prom together in 2013. After about a year together, we decided to maintain our relationship as friends during a transformative time in our lives, though Tyler never lost sight of the girl he wanted. Throughout our years of friendship, Tyler never hid his feelings for Corinne. Fast forward to 2021, when Tyler moved to Dallas, Texas, and Corinne made several trips to visit him. It was during these visits that Corinne realized the man she had always dreamed of was right in front of her all along. Determined to give our relationship a chance, we embraced a long-distance relationship. After just two months, Tyler decided to move back to California—with only a backpack—to pursue our chance at happily ever after. After two years of dating, Tyler got down on one knee and asked Corinne to marry him. Corinne's response? "What took you so long?"
