One Friday morning, Cori received a call from a school district asking if she could be a last-minute substitute teacher for a Special Education classroom. She knew she needed to study for a big teaching exam coming up, but decided to take the job anyway. Chris, being a classroom aide at the time, not thinking anything different of the day, dressed in his best, head-to-toe all orange Ducks attire for Fun Friday. He welcomed Cori to the classroom and introduced her to all of the kids. After working together for the day, Cori knew she had to see Chris again. With the encouragement from a girlfriend and a boost of courage from Chardonnay, she reached out to Chris. After meeting at a casual local brewery the next day, they were inseparable. Fast-forward 4 years to a spontaneous trip to Big Sur & the rest is history!
