Aaron and Corey met via an online dating app called Hinge in June 2019. Corey asked Aaron out on a school night to a local restaurant in Toluca Lake, CA named Catcher in the Rye where they talked, laughed, and walked around the neighborhood for five hours. They immediately began seeing more of each other and as time passed their love for one another grew.

They went on their first trip together in November 2019 on a cruise to Ensenada (Corey is still shocked that after only 4 months Aaron agreed to book a cruise with him) and in December 2019 Corey joined Aaron in Australia during a work assignment he had (their second international trip!). Although they spent three months in a long-distance relationship during his assignment, Aaron thankfully returned prior to the pandemic and together they navigated the global shutdown. Through numerous stay at home date nights, zoom happy hours, houseparty games, and sourdough bread baking, they grew closer and built a strong foundation for their relationship together.

Aaron and Corey purchased their first home together in Burbank, CA located in the Magnolia Park area in November 2021. They, along with the gracious help of their loving friends and family, have helped turn the fixer upper into a home that is filled with love, light, and laughter. They love to find new places to have date night experiences, see the family (in-person or on Facetime) and work on DIY projects around the house. They also hope to one day adopt a four legged little one and perhaps a two legged little one too someday.
