We met through a dating app, neither of us were looking for anything there, Reagie was basically rating men's look on it. Then one day, Reagie saw this breathtaking mountain picture with a man in it, she thought "this guy is probably interesting", so she started the conversation. After a week of carelessly talking to him, she felt really bad not responding to him all the time, so she asked for his Line (Taiwanese messaging app) number, we then texted for a couple of days and that's when she thought it's time to test out if this guy is a scam. Reagie asked, "Can we talk on the phone today?" and Cordell replied "Yes, I hate texting, let's talk tonight after work", guess what, we talked for 3 hours on the first phone call. For the next 2 weeks we never stop calling each other and each phone call lasted at least 1.5 hours, that's when we thought "it's time to meet up". We decided to meet in front of a metro exit, Reagie got there earlier and hid behind the wall so she could see if Cordell was really the guy in the pictures. He was, so we went to the night market and bowling alley, at the end, we went to Reagie's favorite park in the city, we sat down by the pond with a bottle of wine and talked about everything, and that's where it all began.

We talked about getting married over the phone because we were in different countries. Cordell sent a cheap Kohls ring to Reagie in her Christmas package so that she had something to wear until the wedding, so there was never a real proposal, until... 2 weeks after Cordell was back in Taiwan (a few weeks before the Taiwanese wedding), on a random afternoon, we went to a beach in Reagie's hometown of Hualien. We were skipping rocks, building rock towers and enjoying the breeze. Suddenly, Cordell asked to go for a walk somewhere that was not as crowded. After we found a more secluded spot Cordell said that he had a surprise sticker for Reagie. (Cordell had been giving Reagie one sticker everyday since he had arrived in Taiwan. He did this because he loves getting cool stickers and putting them on his water bottle and Reagie also wanted her own stickers too, so while they were apart Cordell saved up a lot of stickers to give her until he saw her in-person again.) Cordell gave her the same box he had put all the other stickers in and turned on his phone to record her expression, as he had done everyday, but this time when Reagie opened it, there was a sticker that said "Will you marry me?" and he got down on one knee and asked the question (properly this time). Even though we were only a few weeks from our wedding, Reagie still jumped and screamed "yes, yes, yes", because that'll always be her answer.
