Corban and I met through an app called Coffee Meets Bagel. The more we talked the more we realized how much we had in common. Most importantly we found out that we both want a farm with a lot of animals! Our first date was breakfast at Denny's. Corban made sure, numerous times, that I was okay with the fact that he doesn't talk a lot. It didn't take him long to realize that wouldn't be a problem since I never seem to stop talking! Before he dropped me off after one of our dates he asked me: "Will you be my girlfriend?". The fact that he formally asked me to be his girlfriend was so sweet and of course I said yes! About 6 months later he officially asked me to move in with him. We said that we loved each other shortly after that. Corban encouraged me to start training and trialing with Fly in agility which was one of the best decisions we've ever made. To celebrate our one year anniversary he bought me Sundance, our bearded dragon! We bought our amazing house in Hales Corners shortly after. Not long after that we brought Harvey Dent Two Face in to our family. He came to us with nothing but a piggy ball toy. He was infested with parasites, anorexic, and had no idea how to be a dog or how to even negotiate furniture. It brings me so much joy to see how amazing he is doing now compared to that first day. A few months later we welcomed Bandit Rupert McGooberton in to our family. I never thought that I would be lucky enough to find someone who loves dog sports - or Border Collies - as much as I do. That's one of the many reasons why on Christmas Day 2019 there was no question that I would say yes when asked: "Will you marry me?". Since that day we have added 3 cats to our family: Thackery Binx, Scaredy Cat, and Sassy Pants. We also have numerous fish and shrimp. We're excited to start the next part of our life as a married couple with the same sense of fun and adventure that we have had for the last 5 years!
