Forsyth Park is a Savannah staple. A great place to take in the beauty of Savannah!
If you haven't been to Savannah in a few years, you'll have to check out the Plant Riverside District. The west end of River Street has been revitalized, with plenty of new restaurants, shops, and bars to explore.
Our favorite brunch spot in Savannah! The Collins Quarter sits in central downtown Savannah on Oglethorpe and Bull. The Bride's favorite is the Swine Time Beni, but the Groom likes to shake it up every time—you can't go wrong!
One of our favorite restaurants in Savannah! The Public sits in the heart of downtown Savannah on Liberty and Bull, and they have the best Shrimp & Grits in the city. They don't take reservations, but if you run into a wait, pop into Artillery Bar, their cocktail bar next door. It's the best!
If you're trying to get dinner on the river, this is our favorite choice. Vic's River Grill (not to be confused with Vic's on the River) has a great environment with delicious food.
Our favorite rooftop bar on the river! It offers great views of the Savannah River and the Talmadge Bridge!
A beautiful rooftop bar on top of the Perry Lane hotel in downtown Savannah. Offers the best views of downtown Savannah!
The best brewery in Savannah! It's down in the Starland District (just under a mile south of Forsyth Park), but definitely worth the trip. A cozy old house that's been converted into the most popular taproom in town.
If you're down in the Starland District, you can't miss out on Starland Yard. It is almost certainly where the Bride and Groom spend most of their time. Starland Yard is an outdoor, laid-back establishment that offers multiple restaurant options and has its own bar. It's pretty different from historic, downtown Savannah, but Starland Yard is a great place to relax and hang out.
