Are kids welcome?

Answer

Although we adore your little ones, we have decided to keep our wedding an adults-only event. The only exception will be the little ones in our bridal party/immediate family. We hope you understand and enjoy the night off!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Our wedding is strictly invitation only. If you have a plus one indicated on your formal invitation, then you are welcome to bring a plus one!

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have a block at The Embassy Suites Rockford Riverfront. These rooms are reserved for you to book by January 22, 2025 and pay for. The rooms are on a first come, first serve basis so please be sure to book your room in advance. You can book your discounted room by following the link under the “Travel” tab or by calling and mention group “Cooper-McCorkhill” or group code “CMW” There are also other hotels in the area for you to choose from such as Riverview Inn & Suites, Hampton Inn, etc. if you choose to stay elsewhere.

Is there transportation to and from the hotel to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! We have a party bus booked to pick guests up from Embassy Suites starting at 3:30pm and leaving at 3:45pm to bring to the ceremony and will also be available to take back to the hotel after the reception. Unfortunately, we are not able to make arrangements to stop anywhere else.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Absolutely! We will have gluten free, dairy free, and non-pork options available for those who need it. If there are any other food allergies that aren’t listed, please reach out to us to make sure we’re able to inform our caterer.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there is free parking available at the venue. Also, a party bus will be available to you, please check the transportation FAQ for more information.

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We have paid for a professional photographer to capture how the ceremony looks, we have invited you so you may capture how the ceremony feels. We ask you turn off your electronics during our ceremony to ensure you are in the moment and not in the way of our photographer. Once the ceremony has ended and the wedding party has exited, feel free to take as many photos as you want! Be warned, we will call you out in front of everyone if we catch you 😌

What is the dress code?

Answer

We’d love to see everyone dressed up with us! Dress code will be cocktail/semi-formal. Please try to refrain from wearing jeans. We also ask ladies please refrain from wearing colors traditionally reserved for the bride. This includes white, ivory, or cream colors.
