Kindly RSVP by April 11.
The dress code is black tie. Men should wear a tuxedo and women should wear a floor-length gown. We encourage you to join in the wedding's color palette by wearing vibrant shades of pink, purple, blue, or green. Please don’t be afraid to be extra! Please note that the ceremony and part of the reception will be held outdoors on grass. We suggest you wear footwear you find agreeable and discourage stiletto heels.
While we love little ones, regrettably we are unable to accommodate them unless they are named on your invitation.
The ceremony will be on the back lawn of Oak Hill at 5:00. After the ceremony, there will be a cocktail hour held in the gardens between approximately 5:30-6:30. The reception will take place back down the hill at the Christopher Browning pavilion and the tent beside it. Dinner will be served around 7:00. Afterwards, we will dance the night away until our send off at 11:00!
There is ample parking in the field adjacent to the Martha Berry museum and the Browning Pavilion. There will be signs as well as attendants directing you to the proper area. We will have golf carts escorting guests who may need assistance getting to the ceremony and reception sites. We suggest arriving early enough to allow for time to park and walk to the back lawn of Oak Hill for the ceremony which will begin at 5:00.
We have a block of rooms reserved at Hawthorn Suites. Please contact them and mention our wedding to receive a special rate. 706-378-4837
