We’ve flown into both San Fran and San Jose- the drive into Monterey is truly gorgeous. If you’re disinclined to rent a car (everything is easily Uber-able in the city!) there is an airport in Monterey close to hotel options!

InterContinental the Clement Monterey, an IHG Hotel

All right, this is the lux one— The InterContinental is literally directly across the street from our venue. The bride and groom are staying here after the wedding, and getting ready beforehand as well! They offer both the ocean-view and city-facing rooms, and are directly in the center of the action. It’s a GORGEOUS hotel, smack on the water, ocean front restaurant and patio—but that’s definitely represented in the price. If you’re looking for a special and luxe experience, this is it, but accessibility is still readily available elsewhere. Again- across the street from the venue, we’ll walk around this area afterwards, but not a necessity for being in on the action.

Victorian Inn

Another lovely option! Possibly walkable, less than a half mile from the venue. Really cute, free breakfast! Still more on the pricey end, especially for this particular weekend, but the proximity is hard to beat.

Stargazer Inn and Suites

An economical option- we stayed here while touring the city; clean and quiet, but definitely not walkable to the venue. Smoke-free!
