Our story begins in 2014 when we were incoming freshman at Boston University. We found each other at our first college party. Mia remembers Conor as “a little shy, very sweet, and in dire need of a haircut.” Conor was taken aback by Mia's beauty and intrigued by her edgy vibe. Though we don’t recall all of the specifics, we both knew we enjoyed each other’s company and wanted to see more of each other. In the following months, we found ourselves meeting up for coffee (or, in Conor's case, hot chocolate) or to study - always ending up deep in conversation or making the other person laugh. Fast forward a few years, and we found ourselves spending more time together than ever before, and it felt easier and more natural to be alongside one another than apart. In fall 2017, we started dating - and we haven't looked back since.

After a year of being stuck in our tiny Boston apartment during the pandemic, we were ready for a big change - an uproot-our-lives-and-move-across-the-country sort of change. With a leap of faith an a detailed pro/con list, we decided to move out to Denver, Colorado (i.e., a place Mia had never been and a place Conor visited for a weekend once). Before leaving Boston, Conor suggested that we take a 'greatest hits' walking tour of the city to reminisce on places we'd been, experiences we'd shared, and, well, places we loved to eat. After a long day of walking around Boston, we ended up in a park that had a beautiful view of the city we called home. As Mia was taking in the sights and realizing the gravity of their upcoming move, Conor took a knee in the snow and proposed that we make one more memory in the city that brought us together. We both knew that no matter where we were, home would always be where the other person was. We can't wait to celebrate our wedding day with you!
