We’re getting married!

Connor and Pierre have known each other their entire lives. Both attended Broadalbin-Perth High School and in doing so, they created a friendship that eventually morphed its way into a relationship their junior year of high school. Located at a mutual friend’s house the night before New Years Eve, the two began their relationship after Pierre nervously asked Connor to be his girlfriend. She said yes and their relationship has been nothing but laughs, jokes, pranks, and fun ever since.

With hunting season about to be in full swing, Pierre prepared for his annual hunting trip out in Trumansburg, New York, less than 30 minutes away from Ithaca College where Connor was immersed in her senior year of undergrad. On the Wednesday of Connor’s midterms, Pierre took her to Taughannock Falls, their favorite spot, to unwind from the stress of school. He told her they should take a few nice pictures of the two of them together in front of the falls, like they had done the past fours years. The falls were frosted in shimmering icicles. As Connor took in the scene, she turned back to Pierre to find him on one knee with a ring in hand where he asked her to marry him. She said yes, and the two celebrated with hot cocoa.
