A night at the Diversey Bowling Alley in Chicago, Illinois turned into a lifelong journey for us. Some mutual friends had planned the night out to the bowling alley since it was so cold in Chicago in January. We were on bowling lanes next to each other and kept bowling at the same time all night. Eventually, Connor worked up the courage to ask for Patty's number. Of course, she said yes! Who could resist the dimples?

On a beautiful trip to Europe, we headed to the south of France after attending a wedding in Croatia. The first stop was in Saint Tropez, France which became one of the most memorable places for us! Connor had found a "french tasting" dinner and Patty thought nothing of it since he usually takes the lead on trip adventures. We decided to grab a drink before dinner to look at all the boats, however, Connor wanted to stop at the port wall overlooking the Mediterranean. As we were walking down the port wall, Connor asked a bystander to take a photo of us. He then got down on one knee and proposed. Patty said yes and all the spectators on their yachts started clapping! The bystander ended up being a photographer and we took photos all around the city. We ended our night at a unique French restaurant that overlooked a colorful church. It was the best night anyone could ask for!
